[powerdot] Itemize bullets and inactive colors

Hello, I am trying to create a custom style for Powerdot, and I have come
across a rather small issue. Specifically, I want to define symbols for the
itemize bullets, but I want them to be in color. Unfortunately, when I use a
color, I cannot get the bullet to appear in the inactive color when using
\pause, for example, in an itemize list. Is there a way to fix this? Below is
an example from the "aggie" style to add color to the bullets, but it does not
address the problem of making the bullets appear inactive when they should be:

%Note: This code comes from the "aggie" style.
\def\labelitemi{\color{pdcolor2}\footnotesize\ding{108}}
\def\labelitemii{\color{pdcolor2}\small\ding{70}}
\def\labelitemiii{\color{pdcolor2}\tiny\ding{110}}
\def\labelitemiv{\color{pdcolor2}\tiny\ding{117}}

Any suggestions are welcome.

-Chris
