Hi Photographers on Vashon - I curate the walls for Vashon Community Care
Center, am currently lining up shows for 2012, and am wondering if some of you
would like to get together and hang your work on the walls at VCC. Some of you
have shown there before and your work was greatly appreciated by the residents,
employees and many visitors.

For those of you who do not know the ropes at VCC the shows are two months long
and VCC provides treats for one Friday night opening. VCC does not take
commissions and if you wish to sell your work you can put your phone number on
the name tag/price card with each photograph. All work must be suitable for
hanging (have secure wiring on back). All subject matter is acceptable as long
as it does not frighten or upset any residents.

We could do a theme show if you wish. I know some of you were at the car show
last weekend taking photos. I'm a bit hoping you would be interested in doing
a wall of those old cars. I think the seniors that live at VCC would love it.
They also seem to love photographs of animals, Vashon scenes, and flowers.
Actually almost anything that is cheerful pleases them.

If there is enough interest we could do two shows at VCC next year. Maybe one
in the early Spring and one in the Fall.

Please contact me if you are interested.

PS: If you have enough work and would like to do a single artist show we can
probably schedule that also.
