I was made aware that HIPL now has its own IRC channel. I wondered why
it is not on freenode where all the other FOSS projects are:
http://freenode.net/
I think HIPL should consider switching servers. It's very convenient to
be able to join the channel of whatever library or development tool or
other random program to ask questions.
I'm also on freenode when I join IRC, in the FFmpeg and MPlayer
development channels, under the nickname DonDiego.
