I am running Solaris 8 on a dual processor box with 1GB of ram. The box runs 98% idle at this time as I am just bringing it into production. I am running Apache 1.3.31 with php 4.3.7 Postings to phorm are running very slow, even to the simple generic info form: http://www.barxalot.com/phorm/examples/feedback.html I tried modifying the quickconfig.php with "$PHORM_INFONLY = true" but that did not speed up the response. Neither did restarting apache. I even tried a reboot. I do not see any errors in any syslogs I don't know which child process is going to listen so I haven't been able to truss the httpd PID from the beginning of the POST, but I haven't seen anything unusual except a lot of sleeping when I do truss the active process I am logging errors into a syslog but I have not seen any Any ideas where I can look next? ============= SOLUTION ===== My DNS host had an error and dropped my zone file from their name servers today, when I found out that barxalot.com was no longer set up on their system and contacted them, they added the zone file back in. Posting to phorm is now very quick Why or what was happening, I am not sure. ------------------------------------------------- You are receiving this message because you are subscribed to the Phorm mailing list.
