Criticality level: Moderately critical
Impact: DoS
Where: From remote

http://secunia.com/advisories/41787/

DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft Windows, which
can be
exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of
Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to the Secure Channel
(SChannel)
security package failing to check a logical condition when
parsing
client certificates. This can be exploited to cause the LSASS
service
to stop responding and restart the system via a specially
crafted
client certificate request to an affected IIS server hosting a
SSL-enabled web site.

SOLUTION:
Apply patches.
