-=PCTechTalk=- Weird problem with Outlook Express

This just started. OE says that I currently have 12 messages in my Inbox
and 1 message is unread. I beg to differ. I count 10 messages and all
are read. View is set to show ALL messages. I set the view to hide read
messages and that hid the 10 messages that I have in the Inbox and left
nothing showing. I don't have any other unread messages in any other
folder. Inside the Inbox folder I created a folder for this list and all
messages from the list go to that folder. Currently that folder is
empty. I have a couple other folders that I use for storing messages
temporarily and there are no unread messages there. I'm currently
working on 3 different emails and have them saved in the Drafts folder,
marked as read.
I tried selecting all messages in the Inbox and marking them as read, OE
froze up. OE is version 6, OS is XP Pro. I just deleted everything in
the Inbox, OE says there are 2 messages and 1 is unread, this is just
totally weird.
