Does anyone on the list use Registry Mechanic, found at www.pctools.com ? I
purchased it and have used it for about a year. It has not caused any problems
and almost always finds a lot of stuff to fix. Now I am being asked to renew
at a special price of $19.95. I am told I can continue to use my original
version but it will not be up to date. I sometimes wonder if it really finds
and fixes things or just pretends to, if you know what I mean. I do not mess
with the Registry on my own. Scared to death to do that. I purchased Registry
Mechanic upon the recommendation of thundercloud.net , a stationery site. They
have had lots of "testimonials" in their newsletter from satisfied customers.
Still I wonder??
Anyone care to comment?
