I bought a 100 pack of dvd-R's and used them . (actually, 2 100 packs, but my son took one). I think they were TDK - but not positive. I had to buy dvd+R's for my laptop. I bought a 50 pack of sony dvd-R's for the desktop. tonight my daughter put in one of the new dvd-R's to burn - she tried several things to burn - it said incorrect media. so she grabbed a dvd+R from my laptop - and it burned. this makes NO sense whatsoever. Does anyone have any thoughts? If you're going to ask me what brand the dvd player is on here - tell me how I can find that info out! I don't know offhand. I am going to try the new sony's in my son's computer to see if they work. If they don't, then I have a brandy new pack of sony DVD-R's that are now opened and have been purchased for several months anyway - that I can't use!! anyway - thought I should pop in anyway - it's been a while!! <smile) Cris -- Please remember to trim your replies (including this sentence and everything below it) and adjust the subject line as necessary.
