What I do is - on my hard drive, I make a folder with the same name I use in my Outlook express - (I use windows explorer and keep the folder open) for example, I have a groups list in OE and in my Groups list, I have PCTECH. so - I could make a PCTECH folder on my hard drive. open that folder. Open your OE to your PCTECH group. Have both of these windows open on your monitor, and to a smaller size - not full screen. Highlight all of the mail you have in your PCTECH folder in OE that you want to save. (Left mouse on top one, hold shift key and click the bottom one - until all highlighted ). Put your cursor on the highlighted e-mails. Right click and drag them into your empty PCTECH folder and release. Choose copy here, and they will all copy to that folder. you can now click on them and they will open in OE. And you can burn that folder onto a cd. Hope this helps - I'm not very good at explaining things!!! let me know if there is anything I missed!! I have many folders in my Inbox and need to clean them out, but am not sure what you mean. For example, under Local Folders there is INBOX, under which I have several subfolders like Email Lists, Ezines, Friends, etc. Then these folders also have subfolders. So do you mean to put them all in ONE folder, then burn them? Would you please give SIMPLE step-by-step procedure on just exactly how you do this? I also looked at the site Kathy referred to and I "ALMOST" get it, but could you elaborate on your method please? TIA --Glo --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
