You can flood your drive with as much junk as you want but your Pc
(unless you are sharing the same PC with different Users),
can run only one wallpaper  on one desktop using only one theme
and one screensaver.
Therefore, only the ones that you've set to run will take some resources,
depending on what specs your Pc has, and how much stuff you got loading on
startup...
And yes, d/l too much stuff can use up a lot of HD space, tis best to leave
a few favorites on your PC and saving the rest on a cdr or cdrw disc... 
or two or three.....   Whatever...
