it sees it fine! phew! and - I have 2 slots - and they are both taken!!! LOL 
and need to be!!! That was one of the 1st things I checked when I went back on 
line - after I was relieved that it booted!!

   Does the computer see the memory with the missing plastic?  If it does, 
don;t worry about it.  If it does not, lay the computer on it's side so the 
motherboard is flat and then see if it will see all the RAM.
   If it still doesn't see it, put the ram chip in another open slot.
