Thanks Don,

I may try that.  I mostly use word and occasionally powerpoint, excell, and 
publisher. I have had the program crash on me "Word" sometimes while waiting 
for a file to open and even had to shut down and restart the computer a few 
times.  I am not sure though this "offices pro" will run ok on vista 64 bit 
but will have a look and see.
