I don't know how it's set up.. I didn't do it it's been a problem since Dec.
It plays dvd fine.. just won't record. I will have to ask what cables are
being used for sure but I seem to remember specific cables were purchased for
this...

ml, did you get this problem resolved. If not, are you using audio video
cables or coaxial cable, between the Sat recvr and DVD R?
