I'd run PANDA on line - it sounds like that one virus that is out there that
keeps saying it is shutting down the computer - but wasn't that only on winXP
systems?
did she run anti-spyware programs?

Hi,
Need some help here. Friend is getting this message on her computer. She =
runs win98Se and is on cable. She has zone alarm pro. These messages =
will come on when nothing is open. There is another message but I don't =
remember what she said it is. Has run virus scan and nothing. I advised =
her to contact her isp as it looks like a hole in their system. Once the =
message told her she had to reboot three times to get reconnected and =
she did. Sounds like someone has taken over her puter. Any thoughts? I =
had her take a shot of the message so I could ask someone as I am =
baffled.
