over the internet. I've found things and made phone calls if they have a phone
number! I think my son has though - the younger generation!! doesn't know any
better!! LOL

If you're going to make any large purchases, you should always stick to sellers
that have a higher rating. Although doing so won't guarantee you're not ripped
off, it reduces the possibility since the seller already has a reputable name.
For smaller, cheaper items, go ahead and buy from anyone you like. Just
remember... paying with PayPal is not the same as paying with a credit card. If
you try to cancel a charge, you;re not canceling a charge to the seller, but
rather a charge to PayPal. Cause, all you're doing is supplying your PayPal
account with funds using your credit card. If you get ripped, chances are the
only way to recovery is court.. and who the hell wants to go to court over a
sale on the internet where the scammer is all the way across the country (if
not outside the country, in which case you might as well not even bother).

| I think the trick is from what I have heard you BUY on e-bay first..get a
| reputation for prompt paying. The buyers who may also be sellers then give
| YOU feed back anyone can read that says you deal fairly..you PAY fast. The
| first month you are on e-bay you have a set of sunglasses beside your "
| name"..representing a NEW ebayer. Month over, glasses gone. I just finished
| my month and made 4 small purchases. I payed thru Paypal..good record. NOW
| I can attempt to sell IF I want. Give that a thought.
