if You boot from a Windows floppy Startup disk you should be able to enable
Cd-Rom support during the bootup phase.

Once it gets you to the A:\> just type FORMAT C:

Hmmm.... seems to me you were teasing a bit :)
Ok, ready to do the deed. I just boot up in DOS, type FORMAT C at the C
prompt and go from there? Now, how can cd rom support be enabled? This would
have to be AFTER rebooting right? Sorry about the ignorance but ...sigh...I
have to start somewhere.
