I run spywareblaster and spywareguard in the background. They really make a difference. I run spybot search and destroy - and adaware. The ad-aware is big on the tracking cookies. Spybot has an immunization area - I've clicked on it. It says that I am running spywareblaster, which is better than their immunization section. I looked at them and they are the patches from Microsoft. Had I not known not to mess with registry unless I had a reason, I am curious to see if anyone else has gotten those picked up in Ad Aware? > If not, any idea on why it is picking those up as spyware? > Karen > ***Chaos, panic and disorder .. my work here is done.*** > To unsub or change your email settings: > //www.freelists.org/webpage/pctechtalk > > To access our Archives: > http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PCTechTalk/messages/ > //www.freelists.org/archives/pctechtalk/ > > For more info: > //www.freelists.org/cgi-bin/list?list_id=pctechtalk > > > To unsub or change your email settings: > //www.freelists.org/webpage/pctechtalk > > To access our Archives: > http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PCTechTalk/messages/ > //www.freelists.org/archives/pctechtalk/ > > For more info: > //www.freelists.org/cgi-bin/list?list_id=pctechtalk > > To unsub or change your email settings: //www.freelists.org/webpage/pctechtalk To access our Archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PCTechTalk/messages/ //www.freelists.org/archives/pctechtalk/ For more info: //www.freelists.org/cgi-bin/list?list_id=pctechtalk To unsub or change your email settings: //www.freelists.org/webpage/pctechtalk To access our Archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PCTechTalk/messages/ //www.freelists.org/archives/pctechtalk/ For more info: //www.freelists.org/cgi-bin/list?list_id=pctechtalk
