Hi Mike, I empty the temp folder daily so it's not that. I keep the AV software updated weekly and do a startup scan and I've done a regular scan about 3 days ago and there was nothing. I had picked up the badtrans virus but, it was quarantined before it actually started attacking any programs and was removed with a virus removal tool. Any other ideas? --- Mike <mikebike@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > Hi Taanzaa, > have you checked for virus with a recently updated > AV program? > > Have you cleaned out the temporary internet files > lately, they will > frequently case IE to act up? > > Re; Processor: Intel Celeron 433mhz (slow huh?) > Not really, I was just updating my AV on my laptop, > a P233. > I still use my MMX 200 as well. > > Mike ~ It is a good day if I learned something new. > Editor MikesWhatsNews see ~ http://www.mwn.ca > <mikeswhatsnews-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?Subject=subscribe> > See my Anti-Virus pages ~ > http://virusinfo.hackfix.org > A Technical Support Alliance Member > http://groups.yahoo.com/group/techsupportalliance/ > > *********** REPLY SEPARATOR *********** > > On 23/10/2002 at 6:53 PM taanzaa wrote: > > Hi: > > I've had some really weird things going on with IE6 > and OE6.
