my kind of sewing lately is planning on designing my own machine
embroidery.. for use in my embroidery machine. I didn't know if any of the
software would be of use in any of that--I don't get into quilting. Made one
back maybe 8 years ago give or take ..haven't made another. I find having to
deal with fussing with cutting pieces and matching seams to be a bother. Too
confining. Or should I say restricting. The ONLY kind of quilting I would
get into which is how the one I did make was done is Crazy Quilt..odd ball
pieces put together..it comes up looking like stained glass..all irregular.
Very interesting.

I imagine that Serif's Impact Plus could be used for designing awesome
quilts... what kind of sewing do you do?

Thanks for the link..I have NO idea what I would do with the program..I just
keep seeing it talked about in several list groups I am for sewing...I don't
know what they use it for.. Since I don't have it I didn't pay attention to
their discussions but maybe it might be something I COULD use...
