I have Windows XP and the little box came up when I opened Picasa asking if I wanted to download the update now or later. I Chose now and it took over an hour. I got engrossed in reading about the new features and found where we are advised to update our printer drivers so I did that and saved it to my download stuff. I think when I open Picasa again it will be the updated version.
