Look in your deleted items folder. If they are not there, look in
your recycle bin for a file named Inbox.dbx. If the date deleted is
the date you lost the emails then it is likely the folder with your
saved emails in it.

To recover them, open OE and then save any messages in the existing
Inbox by moving them to any other convenient folder. Then close OE
and return to the recycle bin. Right click on the Inbox.dbx and
select restore. Click OK to overwrite if prompted.

Open OE and your emails should be back. If not, they may be gone
forever. If you have a recent backup you could restore the latest
Inbox.dbx by saving messages as described above and closing OE and
then opening your backup software and restoring the latest copy of
Inbox.dbx. Click OK to overwrite if prompted.

If overwriting does not restore as expected, try navigating to the
message store folder and deleting the inbox.dbx first. The message
store folder can be located by going to Outlook
Express/Tools/Options/Maintenance/Store Folder.

Do NOT click on Change. To close, click Cancel.
Be sure Outlook Express is closed when deleting or restoring dbx
files.
