Rudy,
TVs, even the flat screened type, will always produce more heat than
monitors because they also sport additional "tuner" electronics to pick up
TV stations and process them into something the screen can actually show
you. It's similar to what a tuner and video card do for a computer and you
know how hot those can get. lol
