Lionel, Is it optical or is there a ball underneath?
If the former, try re-installing the software. If the latter, take the ball
out, carefully remove fluff and stuff from probably three rollers with care!
Clean and replace ball. Use of clear meths should be OK. Coloured meths
tends to leave a little deposit, but I don't think it would matter here.
