ISSUE RESOLVED, thanks for the support.
I renamed users local and roaming profiles, had him log on to gen a new
profile and Word docs ok. Copied items that he needed from old profile.

Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- MS Word

I have a user who, when he clicks on a Word document, the Title Bar says
"Document1". However, if he opens MS Word first and then navigates to the
document, the Title Bar then displays the file id. Also, when looking at a
list of his documents, the Icons look like old Word Icons, and when I log on
with my profile the problem does not exist. I suspect that there is a quick
fix without blowing away his profile but can't find it.

Thanks
