I too d'loaded and installed 'WindowsOne Care" (Name change to
WindowsDon'tCare) yesterday, removed it today - too many irritating
problems. After deletion, all runs well again.

My advice (For what it's worth), remove it and wait until it is more solid.

Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- MS Auto Updates
Importance: High

Hi PC TechTalk,
I have a notification Icon in my task bar when I click on it and it says

I have 7 updates for my system available. I have been trying repeatedly to
install them and they continually FAIL. The all seem to be 0KB. I have also
sought help on the subject from MicroSoft OneCare Help section and even that

does not work, I get an error message that an unknown application error
occurred when try to submit my problem. I have been trying for two days.

I am using XP Pro, Service Pack 2, I have 512 Meg of Ram and plenty of

free space on my hard drive. I am also using the new One Live Beta from MS.
How can I deal with these 7 updates if they continue to notify, fail and I
can't seem to connect by email to report the problem. Will I have to wait
for the proverbial MS Patch?
