I'm guess it could. But I want a spider that I can designate a website
and the text to search for.

<Copy>
I need a spider that has the ability to look for certain text on a
website
and report back the URLs which has this text. Anyone know of such a
program. <End>

Does it check all Internet sites? I am wondering if I could use such a
program to search for VERY unusually spelled surnames, such as
"Thromomineice" for example. That sure isn't a common name like Jones.

Any site that has genealogy with that name I stand a good chance of
being
related to. Would it work that way?

Thanks.

Robert
