You know there are some programs that backup the registry...I use JV19 Power

Dangerous area to get into, Lionel. You really need to know what you
are doing as it does not take much to cause big problems. Requests to
back up usually only come when you are going to modify the registry so
that you can recover from an error. At least that's my understanding.
I can't remember the details for WinMe, but access to the registry is
via Start/Run, type *regedit* without the asterisks, the 'Enter' The
file menu there will probably offer you a copy function.
