When I got dsl, the installation package came with 6 filters. Do you already 
HAVE dsl or are you just contemplating it?

Thanks very much to all the good people who responded with helpful info re
faxing! I have one further question tho; what is the filter for the fax line
that's been mentioned? Is it something I could pick up at Radio shack?
