Easy & direct? Probably not since the two formats are incompatible. :( What's needed here is someone with am OCR (optical character recognition) program installed. So, the question then becomes, Is there anyone here with an OCR app who's willing & able to convert a TIFF to a DOC for Jan? Your senior likely has the means to change the HP default to something more appropriate. If he still has the original, it would be worth looking into.
