Maybe it's in your SystemRestore files.  This is what SirTroth 
suggested, and that cleaned up a similar virus problem that I had.

"Assuming you are using WinXP:

Click on START > right-click on MY COMPUTER > PROPERTIES > SYSTEM 
RESTORE tab >
put a check mark in TURN OFF SYSTEM RESTORE ON ALL DRIVES > APPLY > then 
after
it finishes with the "disabling" action, you can turn SYSTEM RESTORE 
back on
unchecking TURN OFF SYSTEM RESTORE ON ALL DRIVES and hitting APPLY again.

Note... that this will remove all former SYSTEM RESTORE points you have...
which, shouldn't be a problem, since removing the virus is more 
important than
keeping the backups."
