Wish I could help. I run ME too, have never gotten System Restore to Work,
and I've never disabled it. To tell the truth Ive never heard good reports
on this feature.

I still can't get System Restore to work on my WinMe machine. I'm afraid.
I have re-installed WinMe, but nothing has changed. Standard use or in
Safe Mode, I always get the same message: "Restoration was
unsuccessful....No changes have been made to your computer".
Has anyone any help to offer, please?
