I just put I guess it was AVG 7? the older version on my sister's computer a
few months ago, so far she has been doing fine with it. I guess I should
download the new free version though since I k now now there is one the nxt
time I see her.

I didn´t upgrade. I downloaded AVG 8 Free. Am still using the older
version but will uninstall it before installing new AVG 8. I don´t think
there actually is an upgrade, just the new full version.
