Hi Everyone:
I had to purchase statistical analysis software for one of my classes, but
now I can't install it on my laptop. The software is called PHStat 2 and
the version is 2.7. I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop with a 1.6Ghz
processor and 2GB of RAM and my version of MS Office is 2007.
When I enter setup, I get through the preparing to setup, license agreement,
setup then I get an error that says:
"The following files would not self-register or unregister
1. C:\windows\system32\OLEAUT32.dll
Access is denied
2. C:\windows\system32\STDOLE2.tlb
Error Accessing the OLE registry.
I have made sure the security settings were set as recommended in the help
files. I have uninstalled the program, then reinstalled it from an elevated
prompt and I still receive the same error messages.
How can I get my installation to work?
I hope I have included all pertinent information.
