Hi Gman,

I think I cracked the problem. I was looking for the wrong thing in Windows
Search. I was looking for Windows Media Player Classic when it is actually
just Media Player Classic... I discovered it is bundled with K-Lite Codec
Pack which I use for dvds. I didn´t uninstall it yet... am thinking about
it :o)) Now I know its bonafide and not a threat I might just leave it, as
its an unobstrusive (sp.?) little thing and if it wants to play wavs and
midis, so be it!!!

Thanks for offer to help, will take you up next time!

Lil
