-=PCTechTalk=- Laptops and HDMI

I have noticed a few laptops now have HDMI ports. Some even have a BlueRay
player. Unfortunately, the video adapters and displays all max out short of
full 1080p (1920 x1080) resolution. All do 720p, which is OK for a small
laptop screen, but an HDMI port would be connected to a larger external
display and anything short of 1080p would be disappointing.

Why have a BlueRay player and an HDMI port if you can't have 1080p?
