Are you using Outlook or Outlook Express? I can't do what
you're saying in OE -- only has a find feature -- even if I
highlight something???

Sorry I forget to say highlight the error
In Courier that gives me the option to replace the
highlighted character or to change the character.
leave the replace with box empty
then click on replace all
