Hi This problem I am about to relate to is existent on my significant others computer, NOT mine. (I use XP Pro, she uses XP Home) She was getting a message on start up that said Realtek.exe was trying to load into a restricted windows area, a DLL error. I went to add and remove and tried to delete realtek only to find that at start up it would want to reinstall. Winpatrol would notify me that realtek wanted to start up. (Realtek seems to be some kind of communication thing.) At this time, we had no indication that there was an email problem because she did not try to send out any email. She did not download anything recently previous to this problem appearing. I then used RegCleaner to remove it. Even though she would get this can not find the ISP server message, she would receive any and all email sent to her. She could send email to me at our ISP account BUT she could not send it to my Gmail account. Also she can NOT send ANY email to anyone else on her mailing list. She gets an error message that states ...because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. ... I have tried restoring her computer to a previous restore point to no avail. I have made sure that her email option settings are the same as mine. This does not seem to resolve anything. I am open for suggestions. Life is what happens in between plans.
