I'm thinking about buying an Acer Chrome Book because it's inexpensive and I've read some really neat things about it, but I have some concerns? I have many MS Word 97 files on a USB flash drive that I'm currently editing and modifying using my old WinXP PC, and these files I'd like to be able to work with on a convenient notebook computer. But what happens with a Chrome Book with it's different OS, if I want to use this Word97 loaded flash drive on it? Is there conversion software where I would be able to read, write, and update my files okay? Or perhaps I could download Open Office into the Chrome Book to do this work? Or also maybe I should just forget about the Chrome Book and get a MS Win type of notebook instead? Thanks for any advice here, Greywoulf --------------------------------------------------------------- Please remember to trim your replies (including this sentence and everything below it) and adjust the subject line as necessary.
