            'Ransom' web virus code cracked

            Internet experts have cracked the code needed to break a new =
computer virus that holds users' files to ransom

            "Ransomware" allows hackers to encrypt files on personal =
computers. Victims are told that they will receive a password to unlock =
the data if they pay for drugs from an online pharmacy.=20

            Ransomware appeared in the US this year. The latest version, =
known as Archiveus, emerged in Britain last month. Now IT workers at =
SophoLabs, part of the global antivirus company Sophos, say that they =
have discovered the password.=20

technology consultant for Sophos, said that now it had been revealed, =
"there should be no reason for anyone hit by this Ransomware attack to =
