Thanks for replying. I haven't yet tried this. I usually only use the Intel directory server. One thing I will still try is to call using the IP address. There is the possibility for doing that with my web-phone software, and as I understand I don't need to be connected to directory services. What do you mean about being on yahoo? I will also try the intel page. Things are a bit hectic here, so it will probably be at the weekend. Thanks again Scott -----Original Message----- From: pchelpers-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:pchelpers-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Nigel Hunter Sent: Tuesday, April 08, 2003 2:06 AM To: pchelpers@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [pchelpers] Re: Question regarding web-cam directory serivces Hello Scott Are you on yahoo? Yahoo will recognise your cam as long as the drivers are installed correctly. Just another thought as well: Is there a web address you can go to to update the drivers? Possibly a long shot but anything is worth a try!!! I have now uninstalled and then reinstalled the Create & Share pack and the video phone programme, but still nothing. BTW, I'm using Win98SE with a 56k modem. The camera is USB 1.0. If anyone can help with this, I would be really grateful, as it's driving me nuts! Does anyone know of other directory services to try out?? Thanks to everyone!
