[pchelpers] Garbage in my posted DVD download message

Between my asterisks is what I pasted from my post
about DVD downloading. In addition there is an "=3D"
sign behind each line of my post and a "20" at the end of
a paragraph. The post reached you about twenty minutes ago.
Why is the above happening? Do I have a setting wrong?
Can I get rid of it?
No doubt the above unwanted content may appear in
this post.
