[pchelpers] Broken Browser Blues

Any one have an idea how to fix a puter that won't browse?
No matter the client, IE, Opera, Mozilla, I get a blank page except for the
home page each browser installs.
I am at wits end (I don't have much to spare as it is).
Please help. I have tried IE 6, gone back to 5.5, 5.0, uninstalled,
reinstalled, beat the desk. Nothing seems to work.
Suggestions?
