Me to. What a strange world we live in. Up to yesterday I thought Ian Paisley was a loud mouth bigot. Yesterday those same newscasters and politicians who perpetuated the myth told of his polite gentle and respective nature and that the arrogant and stuborn pronouncements was to encourage people to take a firm stand against the bombers.Behind the scenes the British government respected his wise advice. Very strange! Its 10.30 and I have just switched off from watching the last night of the Proms and halfway through Land of Hope and Glory. I just couldn't stomach any more of watching thousands of people all around the country claiming this to be some kind of truth. Somehow I managed to get through watching a black man singing Rule Britannia and telling everyone that 'Britians will never, never be slaves'! It might have been true once but now it is all bull! It was nauseating to watch the idiots bobbing up and down in time to Elgar's Pomp and Circumstance as though they were living in an idyllic world. When I saw the brainwashed sheeple in London, Glasgow and Belfast waving thousands of flags I could imagine the grins on the faces of those who control us congratulating themselves on how they crap all over us and get us to sing loudly in spite of it!
