LOL... David that's a little sexist don't you think. ( :-D - not having a go at you) In my experience dealing with websites and email accounts, lots of men will think it's genuine too.


But you're spot on, lots do fall for it.
Never give personal details over email or the net folks, only on genuine accounts like your banking site etc. Always look at addresses in your browser if you've clicked on a link, they'll try and mask it in a long string. The phone is the same, if the bank rings you etc, kindly refuse the call, take a ref number, and say you'll ring back. BUT DON'T ring back straight away. Make sure your phone has been properly disconnected from the network. Scammers have found they can stay online and wait for you re-ringing, you think it's genuine, where they've just held on and re-answered it.

Best advice is to always contact direct.
