Hi everybody in P2G. I have just updated our old discussion list,
GED-Plus Teach.
It's an independent list to bring us together as a community of
educators--particularly since we are divided up across 5 boroughs,
hubs and satellites.
It's for teachers, paras, secretaries, social workers, counselors and
many others in our school. It's a place to share ideas and solutions
for ourselves and our students.
You can share ideas, ask colleagues' advice, stay informed, or just
follow the news --
school issues; union stuff; what's doing around the DOE, and
everywhere that dedicated educators are standing up for free quality
public education for all.
As you probably know, I'm the list monitor and one of your UFT
delegates. I'm an ESL teacher at the Manhattan Hub, so if you're
there, stop by and see me in room 706.
