I think it would be good, if you came. (Of course, they haven't confirmed
yet.)We're there to underscore and help explain the importance from a blind
person's point of view of what the o&m people are saying, and to take careful
note of the response we get, so that we can evaluate next steps.

I don't think we're talking about more than ten at absolute most, and we might
not need that many. There might be three or four people from DOT, you,
Annalyn, (I know Gene can't make it,) and a few of us. Joyce, any chance you
could do Monday at 9::30? I know it would mean taking an hour or so from work,
but any chance? I was thinking that to have the TenantsAssociation represented
might be good. I expect to go. This is to make sure they have input
especially from the o&m side as to whether what they're planning makes sense
and is safe. .

I have placed a call to Selis asking for meeting room 1. It would be helpful
to know how many people to expect so we have enough chairs in meeting room 1 or

Commissioner Forgione will try to coordinate a meeting for Monday morning at
9:30, meeting at 7th and 23rd and then returning to Selis. She said that
nothing will go in this week. In other words, I was able to explain to her that
we really wanted the chance for input, before everything was set in stone.
She has to get back to me to confirm, so this is not a definite, but it looks
probable. It's also not the time for a big event; we should have a couple of us
with Annalyn and Gene, to look really specifically at their plans, so that we
can determine if what they're doing is reasonable for our needs.
Annalyn, could you request a room?
