Terri, I will have several of my friends and some relatives at the event if the skies are good. I will take care of those rsvps and notify them if there is bad weather and we have to cancel. If the general public contacts you then you need to call them off if we cancel. Take care, Sam -----Original Message----- From: Terri <cosmicstarstuff@xxxxxxxxx> To: pasmembers <pasmembers@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thu, Dec 20, 2012 5:22 pm Subject: [pasmembers] Jan 15 BMC star party We have our first RSVP for this event. I put them in the forums. I will collect the RSVP's, but at the event Sam is the RSVP in charge, as I believe I won't be available that night. Watch for updates in the forum thread about this event, to see how many public RSVP's we will have. Happy Holidays to all! Terri Good friends are like stars. We have had to cancel the last 2 events (Nov and Dec) at Blk Mountain. The next scheduled event out there isn't until the middle of February. I was just wondering if PAS was interested in a January event at Blk Mountain PVCC. If possible, I would suggest January 15, a Tuesday, since it is a 4 day old moon. Jan 10th is a Thursday, but there is an event at Kyrene middle school that night. If PVCC would let us do the event on Tuesday Jan 15th I would be willing to volunteer if we could get a few other telescopes from PAS. Is there anyone else who is interested, and does anyone know if PVCC would ok a Tuesday night star party? Sam
