I’m going to do the test from my house tonight. It will be interesting to see
what my limiting magnitude is.

My house will be nearly identical to Sam's house. There's a pretty dark spot
that I like to visit at Rio Verde golf course. It would be interesting to do
the test there to compare and contrast.

Anyone want to make a collection of these data points, and put it into a mini
review for the newsletter? We can mention location and results, it may help out
someone in the future, to know where to go to observe. : )

Sam, may I put this in the newsletter?
I think it is a great thing to share with the public readers.

Tonight I did the citizen science project great world wide star count from my
house. I then sent in the report having the date, time, gps coordinates,
constellation used, and results which was a limiting magnitude 3. My son Frank
did it from Tusayan and reported limiting mag 4. Although Tusayan is only 5
miles south of the Grand Canyon, they have a lot of light pollution. I hope
others will do the research and send in their results. If you have any
questions, let me know and I can help you out. It only takes about 30 minutes
of your time.
Have fun, Sam
