We have control of the exterior lighting and downcast amber lights have been
used on the walkway. The building provides good shielding from the road onto
campus. Between the pad and the new parking lot is a protected archeological
site that is densely vegetated. We'll see how it goes once the parking lot is
in full use. The path to the pad is paved so larger scopes could be driven in
and out.

The dome may not be in by the grand opening, but I encourage all who can to
stop by and check out the astronomy area. It is huge! It has lots of available
power outlets and constellations embedded in the walk
way. Once the dome is up we will also be able to offer wifi for Star Parties.

scope, but instead handouts and club info.
Volunteer help is welcome.
