I brought a 9 1/4" SCT on an iOptron Minitower and showed people Mars,
Alberio, M57, and a few other things but spent a lot of time on M31,
Andromeda Galaxy. The skies were quite dark and it showed a lot of detail
in the 9" scope. One little "fact" I like to relate is that if there were
people on planets around stars in Andromeda, and they were looking back at
the Milky Way in similar telescopes, this is what we would look like to
them. The students asked a lot of good questions, and the teachers were
very involved too. Great night.
